Dr. Jack Stephens graduated from Houston’s University of Texas Dental School in the top 10% of his class following undergraduate work at Sam Houston State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry with a minor in biology. His passion for expanding his knowledge includes thousands of continuing education hours focused on dental implantology, orthodontics, laser dentistry, and CAD/CAM dentistry in order to bring the highest quality dentistry to his patients. In his leisure time, Dr. Stephens enjoys spending time with his wife of over 35 years, Robin, and their children, Zach and Brooke. His hobbies include fly fishing, waterskiing, snow skiing, sailing, bird hunting, racing, biking, scuba diving and flying.
Dr. Robert Gatewood earned his Doctor of Dental Science degree from Houston’s University of Texas Dental School, followed by three years’ service in the Navy, including a yearlong hospital-based general practice residency. This allowed Dr. Gatewood invaluable opportunities to shadow talented specialists in a variety of healthcare disciplines and gain clinical hands-on experience that shaped his vision of providing high-quality dental treatment to each and every patient.
When his military service was completed, Dr. Gatewood continued to expand his knowledge base with continuing education courses that include advanced studies in Invisalign®, CEREC® technology, and dental implantology. Dr. Gatewood’s professional memberships and accomplishments include:
Outside the office, Dr. Gatewood is active in charitable work with his church and enjoys spending time with his wife, Donna, and their children, Grant and Alex. His hobbies include skiing, wake-surfing, scuba diving and traveling.
Dr. Christopher Pagano graduated from West Virginia University’s School of Dentistry as a member of the National Dental Honor Society following a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University in the field of Environmental Science with a concentration on Occupational and Public Health.
Continuing education is important to Dr. Pagano, who continues to expand his clinical skills through a number of different courses in CEREC®, dental implantology, and other services. His professional memberships and accomplishments include:
During his free time, Dr. Pagano likes to spend time visiting with his nine amazing nieces and nephews. He enjoys sports (especially college football), movies, music, and traveling, particularly geocaching.
Dr. Michelle Boecker graduated at the top of her University of Texas Dental School class following undergraduate work at Texas A&M, where she received a degree in Biology with a Psychology minor. A Houston area native, she became interested in dentistry at a young age and grew up working in her father’s Sugar Land dental practice.
Dr. Boecker has a strong commitment to research and continuing education and personal research. Her ongoing advanced training has included studies in soft-tissue laser therapy, Invisalign®, endodontics, oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry. Her goal is for every patient to leave with a smile. In her free time, Dr. Boecker loves to travel and is interested in photography, which she has cultivated since studying abroad in Florence, Italy during her college years. She also enjoys making jewelry, yoga, and hiking with her Labrador, Major.
Michelle joined our practice in 2008 after completing her AAS in dental hygiene. She is certified in CPR, laser-assisted periodontal therapy, nitrous oxide administration, and dental sealant placement. Michelle loves her job and feels privileged to help her patients work toward healthier, more beautiful smiles. When Michelle is out of the office, she enjoys time with her husband Brian, three amazing children, and spoiled cat named Meyer, watching Texans and Astros games and serving as taxi, maid, and cash machine for her teenagers.
Melissa has earned two Bachelor of Science degrees—one in dental hygiene from University of Louisiana and one in human movement science from Louisiana State. She has also obtained certifications in laser therapy and nitrous oxide administration since joining our team in 2011. Melissa loves learning about her patients’ travels and interests, and they enjoy her approachable demeanor and ability to thoroughly explain procedures to them. Melissa is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and the Greater Houston Dental Hygienists’ Society. Melissa and her husband, Douglas, have two rescue cats named Marcie and Sophie. When they have free time together, they enjoy watching college athletics, supporting their alma maters of LSU, ULM, and Louisiana Tech. Melissa also likes yard work, reading, exploring small towns in Texas, and volunteering at the children’s hospital with her sorority alumnae group.
Molly received her Bachelor of Science Dental Hygiene degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry and her AAS from Montgomery’s Lone Star College. She is certified in laser dentistry and nitrous oxide monitoring. She enjoys building relationships with her patients, who appreciate her willingness to educate them about their dental health at a comfortable pace. Molly is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, American Dental Education Association, Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association, and National Dental Hygiene Honor Society. Her volunteer work includes the Texas Mission of Mercy’s Smiles on Wheels, Give Kids a Smile, and the Montgomery County Animal Shelter. Molly and her husband Jesse have two dogs, Layla and Libby, and a cat named Phoebe. In her free time, Molly enjoys listening to live music.
Valerie joined our team in 1989 after graduating with honors from North Dental Technical College. She enjoys keeping up to date with ongoing continuing education courses and has received certifications in dental sealant placement and administration of nitrous oxide. Valerie loves her thoughtful, kindhearted patients, especially when she has watched them grow up into remarkable young adults who bring their children in to her. Patients enjoy Valerie’s honesty, passion, and commitment to excellence. Valerie has been married for more than 30 years, and her baby is a Giant Schnauzer named Riesen. She recently accomplished an important goal by participating in a triathlon following a kidney transplant, receiving a medal for her efforts. In her leisure time, Valerie enjoys working out, traveling, art, wine, and cooking.
Dana joined our team in 2008 after receiving two degrees in dental hygiene: a Bachelor of Science from University of Texas San Antonio and an Associate’s from the Lamar Institute of Technology. She is certified in laser treatment, CPR, nitrous oxide administration and placing dental sealants. Dana loves interacting with her patients, building relationships and seeing positive changes after she expands their oral health education. Her patients find her gentle, caring, and easy to talk to. Dana and her husband Joey have two sons, Ryker and Dax. They also have a bulldog, Stella. Away from the office, Dana regularly donates to food drives and enjoys running, live music and traveling.
Courtney joined our team in 2014 after attending the University of Texas School of Dentistry. Patients love that she is weird, silly, and has no filter—and she loves that her patients are okay with that! Courtney loves to do research, loves pathology, and loves a challenge. Courtney has been married to her husband Matthew for more than 15 years and they have two sons, Levi and Noah, and two dogs, Annie-versary and Sarah Lee. She does volunteer work whenever possible and also loves anything creative, including beading, crocheting, and remodeling her kitchen.
Crystal came on board after graduating with her AAS degree in dental hygiene from the Lamar Institute of Technology. She is certified in laser therapy and nitrous oxide administration. Crystal loves caring for her patients and making a difference in their lives, especially when she can help anxious people realize that dental visits aren’t so terrible after all. Her patients appreciate the way she makes them feel more at ease and comfortable in the dental chair. Crystal married her high school sweetheart on 10-10-10 and they have four cats. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, going to concerts, and listening to her wind chime collection while relaxing on the back patio.

Brenda joined our team in 1993 as a certified dental assistant and has also become certified in radiology and nitrous oxide administration. Patients love Brenda’s compassion, patience, and knowledge, and Brenda takes pride in providing great patient care—gaining trust, relieving pain, and improving smiles. Brenda has been married for more than 30 years and has three successful grown children and two grandchildren. When she’s away from the office, she volunteers her time cooking and baking for church events.

Liana joined our team in 2011 after obtaining her dental assisting certification from University of Texas Health Science Center. She suffered from dental anxiety before coming to work for us, and her experience and understanding have helped make her a calming, reassuring presence for patients with similar fears. She loves the opportunity to help patients, get to know them, and make a difference in their lives. In her free time, Liana enjoys reading, cooking, being outdoors, traveling, live music, and Frisbee golf.
Lead Sleep Apnea Assistant
Allison joined our team in 2010 after receiving her registered dental assistant certification from the Baylor School of Dentistry. She holds five-star certification with the Scheduling Institute as well as certification in sleep medicine. Patients appreciate that she is knowledgeable and comforting, and Allison enjoys building strong patient relationships and changing their opinions of dentistry for the better. Outside of the office, Allison is a member of the Spring Baptist Mom’s Club. Allison’s husband, Chris Loring, is the lead guitarist for the Jason Cassidy Band. Her stepdaughter Maggie is a softball player who is involved with the FFA, her stepson John is a musician, and her son with cerebral palsy is “the most amazing kid ever”. The family also has three dogs and one cat. Allison also enjoys live music, traveling, the beach, wine, and spending time with family.

Kelley joined our team in 2008 after earning her registered dental assistant certification. She also holds an Expanded Function Dental Assistant certification. Kelley loves the opportunity to help patients and improve their lives, and patients find her to be friendly, compassionate, and caring. Kelley is a regular volunteer with local food drives. She and her husband Steven have been married since 2005, and they have two boys, Logan and Ryan. Kelley also enjoys camping, fishing, cooking, reading, and boating.
Registered Dental Assistant—Extended Duties
Gina joined our team in 1996 after obtaining her degree from University of Oklahoma. She is a certified dental lab technician in addition to being certified in CPR, CDA, and dental assisting. Gina loves her patients’ kindness and honesty, and they appreciate her positive outlook and personality. Gina is married with three children, and the family has a dog and multiple pet birds. She also volunteers with Wildlife Rescue. During her free time, Gina likes fishing, gardening and spending time outdoors.
Eryn joined our team in 2014 after earning her dental assisting certification from the University of Texas Health Science Center and her office technology specialist certification from Lone Star College. She looks forward to helping patients feel comfortable and watching their happy reactions to their new smiles, while they find Eryn to be caring and friendly. Eryn has been married to her husband Travis since 2011. She has a stepson named Zachary, a stepdaughter named Birdie, and a German Shepherd named Millie. When Eryn is out of the office, she likes to spend time with family and friends, and also enjoys taking naps!
Kimberly joined our team in 2003 with an Associate degree in business administration. She’s always enjoyed making personal connections with patients, building relationships and hearing updates about their families. She especially loves to see patients transform from hiding their teeth to leaving with radiant smiles. Kimberly has been married for 22 years and has twin boys. She is a member of the Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery and volunteers with them, feeding and clothing the homeless. Outside the office, she likes the beach, hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and rooting for the Houston Rockets and Texans. Her family also has a yellow Lab, Luke, and a Shih Tzu named Lola Grace.
Darla joined our team in 2001. She loves seeing a patient’s smile after treatment and watching them progress from fearing dental visits to having positive experiences, while patients love Darla’s compassionate nature and her ability to make them feel at ease. Darla has been married to her husband Steven for 25 years, and they have a son named Sammy. When she’s away from the office, Darla enjoys crafting and spending time with her big, crazy family.

Amy joined our team in 2017 and has been in the dental field for more than ten years. Our patients find her very personable and easy to talk to, and she loves to see them smile and overcome dental fears. Amy is married to David and has two children, Becca and Josh, and a family dog named Otis, aka “Mr. O”. Outside the office, Amy enjoys her family, watching her son play baseball, cooking, and shopping.
Jessica joined the practice in 2013. She loves making patients smile, and our patients love the fact that she is attentive, helpful, and polite. Jessica and her husband Miguel have one son, Roman. In her free time, Jessica enjoys shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Francesca earned her registered dental assistant certification from University of Texas Health Science Center and her AAS degree from Lone Star College in Montgomery. Patients love Francesca’s friendly, approachable personality and her ability to find humor in every situation, while she loves to learn from her patients, chat with them and get caught up on their lives. Francesca and her husband Sean have two dogs, Jax and Layla, and two cats, Beignet and Luna. In her free time, Francesca enjoys dancing, disc golf, yoga, reading, kayaking, cooking, gambling, and traveling.
